Frequency Specific Microcurrent Therapy

What is FSM?

Frequency Specific Microcurrent Therapy (FSM) is a non-invasive therapeutic treatment designed to support tissue healing, reduce inflammation, and relieve pain. FSM uses very low-level electrical currents—similar to the body’s natural frequencies—to target specific tissues and systems.

By delivering micro-amplitude waves at precise frequencies, FSM can promote recovery and address both acute and chronic conditions.

FSM can be beneficial for:

  • Pain management: Fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel syndrome, chronic muscle tension, injuries

  • Tissue healing: Fibrosis, scar tissue, post-surgical recovery

  • Inflammation-related conditions: Allergies, anxiety, depression, mold toxicity, and more

This gentle, effective therapy works with the body’s natural healing processes, making it a valuable addition to both conventional and naturopathic treatment plans.

What to Expect During a Session

FSM treatments are comfortable and relaxing, typically lasting between 35–65 minutes.

Here’s how it works:

  • The device, similar to a TENS unit, is pre-programmed with treatment protocols specific to your health concerns.

  • Leads are connected to damp cloths or sponges, which are placed on the body.

  • Electrodes are never placed directly on the skin.

  • FSM runs at a microamp level, which is painless and does not cause muscle contractions or discomfort.

Most patients report feeling calm during treatment, and some even experience noticeable improvements after just a few sessions.

Patient Experiences

“My seasonal allergy symptoms went away after just two FSM treatments!”
Kiara

“A few quick FSM sessions targeting gut inflammation greatly assisted my healing from chronic constipation. It’s something I always share when I hear of people suffering from chronic conditions. I am very thankful to Dr. Gesko and Unbound Health for all the healing they’ve helped me achieve!”
Maria

Dr. Gesko’s Training in FSM

Dr. Kieran Gesko has completed both the Core Practicum and Advanced Seminar in FSM and has been incorporating this therapy into her practice since 2022.

She integrates FSM with both naturopathic and conventional medicine, using it as part of comprehensive treatment plans to help patients achieve lasting results.
